Roman Lead and Surroundings: When Cultural Heritage and Cutting-edge Scientific Research Meet

The MuDiB (Bicocca Diffused Museum) will inaugurate a scientific corner within the Department of Physics at the University of Milan-Bicocca for Museo Segreto, featuring Roman lead, objects belonging to the illustrious scientist Beppo Occhialini, and some research instruments. In the exhibition space, visitors will be able to view the materials with the support of personnel from the Museum, the Department, and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), highlighting how the university is a cultural enterprise, thanks to the close link between research objects and cultural objects.
