The photo presented is a Study for a sculpture. Carnification of an architecture: in vinculis (ca. 1975), which is part of an unsuccessful publishing project by the sculptor, Corpo Urbano. Some of these drawings will soon be published, on the centenary of the artist's birth (1926-2005), in a book of the same title, edited by Fulvio Irace for Johan&Levi publishers. The decision to include these works in the section dedicated to ‘cultural achievements’ is dictated by their partial publication by a prestigious publishing house, which is committed to publishing refined essays on art history and criticism, aesthetic philosophy, and biographies of great cultural figures such as Aby Warburg and Lucio Fontana. Founded by Giovanna Forlanelli Rovati in 2005, the publishing house publishes biographies and essay series, as well as photography books, illustrated books, and short essays.
