The Historical Archives of Bocconi University preserve the historical documents of the University, founded in 1902, and the collections acquired by the University over time: the oldest are the archives of the Saminiati-Pazzi families, which contain letters, records, and economic documents related to the commercial activities conducted by Florence with other Italian and European cities from the mid-15th century, and the Artimino Archive, whose records document about a century of accounting management of the Medicean villa and the surrounding lands starting from 1782. A business archive is constituted by the Brustio-La Rinascente fund, while the archive of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion testifies to the creation of the fashion system in Italy from its foundation in Rome in 1958 until its transfer to Milan in the 1980s. The personal archives of Ugo Pisa, President of the Milan Chamber of Commerce in 1893, and manager Giuseppe Luraghi also have a strong connection to Milan.
