In occasione di Milano MuseoCity, la vetrina del Flagship Store di Lavazza, in Piazza S. Fedele 2 a Milano si illuminerà delle LIGHTS dell’artista Omar Hassan.

Il tema dell’edizione 2025 di Milano MuseoCity è “Le strade dell’arte”, da qui si ispira la vetrina del Flagship Store di Lavazza che farà parte del percorso che trasformerà la città in un museo a tutti gli effetti. La vetrina sarà illuminata dall’ opera di Omar Hassan Lavazza family portrait, in cui 5 luci illuminano passato e futuro vivendo la generazione nel presente.

Attraverso la sua arte, Omar Hassan trasmette un messaggio di tolleranza e inclusione, creando un ponte tra mondi che spesso si percepiscono lontani. L’artista stesso rappresenta la fusione tra due culture, quella egiziana del padre, musulmano e quella italiana della madre, cattolica. Questa fusione culturale ha dato vita alle sue opere, che nascono dall'abbraccio di mondi diversi ma complementari.

“La luce rappresentata nella serie Lights – spiega l’artista Omar Hassan – è il mio modo di scavare nell’animo umano, di voler arrivare al centro dell’essenza del vivere, dove l’energia del singolo si fonde con quella degli altri, sprigionando una luce diversa per ognuno di noi ed è testimonianza e rivelazione di ciò che ognuno di noi lascia al suo passaggio sulla terra”.

Le opere della serie “Lights” si ergono come faro di rinascita, emergendo dal buio per tracciare un cammino da. Le particelle di colore che si concentrano e si illuminano in un punto simboleggiano il racconto dell'unione tra le individualità. Il buio che cede il passo alla luce attraverso il colore rappresenta la fusione delle energie umane, la comunità che nasce dall'incontro tra le unicità di ciascun individuo.

Nel 2023, in Nuvola Lavazza, headquarter dell’azienda a Torino in occasione dei 5 anni dall’inaugurazione della sede, si è tenuta la mostra di Omar Hassan “Quartas Civitas”, al cui centro vi era l’opera Mappa di Torino Quartieri insieme alla tela Lavazza family portrait.

L’ opera sarà visible al pubblico a partire dal 4 marzo 2025, offrendo ai visitatori l’opportunità di immergersi nel mondo di Omar Hassan, dove l’arte è un mezzo per esplorare e riconciliare gli estremi dell'esperienza umana.

On the occasion of Milano MuseoCity, the window of the Lavazza Flagship Store in Piazza S. Fedele 2 in Milan will be lit up with LIGHTS by the artist Omar Hassan.

The theme of the 2025 edition of Milano MuseoCity is "The streets of art", which inspired the window of the Lavazza Flagship Store which will be part of the path that will transform the city into a full-fledged museum. The showcase will be illuminated by Omar Hassan's work Lavazza family portrait, in which 5 lights illuminate the past and future, living the generation in the present.

Through his art, Omar Hassan transmits a message of tolerance and inclusion, creating a bridge between worlds that often feel distant. The artist himself represents the fusion between two cultures, the Egyptian one of his father, Muslim, and the Italian one of his mother, Catholic. This cultural fusion gave life to his works, which arise from the embrace of different but complementary worlds.

“The light represented in the Lights series – explains the artist Omar Hassan – is my way of delving into the human soul, of wanting to get to the center of the essence of living, where the energy of the individual merges with that of others, releasing a different light for each of us and is testimony and revelation of what each of us leaves upon our passage on earth”.

The works of the “Lights” series stand as a beacon of rebirth, emerging from the darkness to chart a path from. The color particles that concentrate and light up in one point symbolize the story of the union between individualities. The darkness that gives way to light through color represents the fusion of human energies, the community that arises from the encounter between the uniqueness of each individual.

In 2023, Omar Hassan's exhibition "Quartas Civitas" was held in Nuvola Lavazza, the company's headquarters in Turin on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the inauguration of the headquarters, at the center of which was the work Mappa di Torino Quartieri together with the canvas Lavazza family portrait.

The work will be visible to the public starting March 4, 2025, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Omar Hassan, where art is a means to explore and reconcile the extremes of human experience.
