Nel 2023, per legare le essenze del design e dell’arte in un progetto a lungo termine, Dexelance – Gruppo industriale italiano di alta gamma di cui Meridiani fa parte – ha avviato un percorso fatto di cultura e bellezza. Ed è con Meridiani che questo viaggio d’arte ha avuto inizio. Rotante Massimo, III rappresenta l’incontro di scultura e design, due discipline che parlano la stessa lingua e valorizzano la passione e l’alta maestria italiane.

L’opera, del 1968, è una prestigiosa sfera dal diametro di 80 cm realizzata dall’artista italiano Arnaldo Pomodoro, collocata al primo piano del Meridiani store di Milano, insieme ai prodotti del brand.

Magia e mistero è ciò che rappresenta la forma sferica. Una perfezione solida, da preservare, ma che, allo stesso tempo, solletica la curiosità di chi la osserva e invita a volerne conoscerne l’interno, andare a fondo e toccare il segreto della materia. Quella stessa materia che, da sempre, è il cuore pulsante dell’expertise di Meridiani e l’anima delle sue collezioni.

PERMANENT INSTALLATION

In 2023, to blend the essence of design and art into a long-term project, Dexelance – a high-end Italian industrial Group of which Meridiani is part – embarked on a journey rooted in culture and beauty. And this artistic journey began with Meridiani. 

"Rotante Massimo, III" (1968) is a prestigious sphere, 80 cm in diameter, created by the Italian artist Arnaldo Pomodoro. It is displayed on the first floor of the Meridiani store in Milan, alongside the brand’s products. 

“Magic and mystery” is what the spherical shape represents. A solid perfection to be preserved while also piquing the curiosity to discover the interior, to dig deep and touch the hidden material. The very same material that is the vital core of Meridiani’s know-how and the soul of its collections.

Rotante Massimo, III represents the artistic meeting of sculpture and design, two disciplines that share a common language and enhance both the passion and the high quality of Italian art.
