 Museum 2D at UniFor Showroom

Open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 6 p.m.

 Museum 2D at UniFor Showroom

On the occasion of MuseoCity 2025, dedicated to the theme 'Le Strade dell’Arte', the window of the UniFor Showroom on Viale Pasubio hosts an installation curated by Ron Gilad, inspired by the Museum 2D exhibition, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Molteni Museum’s foundation.

In this installation, the curator creates a dialogue between the Milanese spaces of the Molteni Group and the Molteni Museum by suspending a series of kites, inspired by the historic invitation for the 1978 Salone del Mobile, making them float in the iconic UniFor space designed by Herzog & de Meuron.

These objects, light and simple in their form, become symbols of an era and an aesthetic that have profoundly influenced the evolution of design and communication within the Molteni Group and beyond. A light emblem that evokes a history of enduring and historic collaborations with graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, and communication agencies such as Gabriele Basilico, Mario Carrieri, Tullio Pericoli, Unimark International, and Pierluigi Cerri.

The installation also reflects on the role of communication, using an object that, in its simplicity, embodies the connection between art, design, and everyday life.
