Closing day: Sunday

The work "Half tree with apples and pear" in bronze by Alik Cavaliere celebrates the meeting between design and nature. This sculpture symbolizes the fusion between natural elements and innovative materials, fundamental values of Talenti’s philosophy. The metal, durable and timeless, recalls the durability of our furniture, while the plant form, symbol of harmony and well-being, It is inevitably linked to the mission of the company that brings beauty and moments lived in the open air in total relaxation and harmony with nature.

The Nature of Alik Cavaliere, bronze and patina, adorned with fruits, looks out over the plants of a place that is not just a shop, but a space to live, cozy, rich in green, where the furniture crouches, elegant and delicate, among the large and green leaves. A happy encounter between an environment that houses a furniture of craftsmanship and innovative style and the work of a very original artist who used the ancient, arduous and patient technique of lost wax. A perfect combination of different artefacts, but capable in both cases to overcome with grace and good taste a form that is pure aesthetics: Alik’s sculptures, in particular, tell the story of life, its contradictions, the true and false, the changing and regenerating of things, the natural world and human artifice. Half tree with apples and pear was born in 1971, in a season when the artist (Professor of sculpture at Brera, student and successor of Marino Marini) had already begun to work on new materials and to build environments of vast dimensions, but without ever abandoning the bronze and the intense breath towards the world of Nature, understood as a whole, generating and saving, but also stucky and pungent. A naturans Nature and naturata lucreziana, dada and surrealist in its contradictions. The small frame with branch and apple, of '82, is from a period in which it was more frequent for Cavaliere to use ready-made parts as to deepen the theme of conflict between the tendency of man to cage, To narrow, channel nature and the insatiable and victorious yearning for its freedom.

Talent and Talenti walk, so happily, an unprecedented piece of road together.
