I Dress Memory, bassorilievi bianchi in gesso o fiberglass, raffigurano corpetti, scollature, plissé, volant, jabot, fiocchi e drappeggi, ovvero le più sofisticate lavorazioni del tessuto. Lucchini ha voluto rendere eterni quegli abiti raffigurando le sensazioni provate quando li ha visti sfilare per la prima volta o fotografati sui suoi giornali. Non è importante rintracciare a quale stilista appartenga, è la memoria, quell’essenza divina sprigionata dall’abito, che Lucchini vuole fissare per sempre. Vestiti che non andranno mai fuori moda, perché sono pezzi d’arte unici, irripetibili, trasformati dall’artista in visioni quasi mistiche. 

Dress Memory n˚44 e Dress Memory n˚45 sono state scelte per la loro affinità con l’universo creativo di Emé. In queste opere l’abito diventa memoria e presenza, va oltre la funzione per trasformarsi in traccia di storia vissuta e identità. Una ricerca che dialoga con il brand nella capacità di unire estetica, emozione e visione contemporanea.

The Dress Memory series consists of white bas-reliefs in plaster or fiberglass depicting bodices, necklines, pleats, flounces, jabots, bows, and drapery, the most sophisticated expressions of textile craftsmanship. Lucchini sought to make these garments eternal by capturing the sensations experienced when seeing them for the first time on the runway or photographed in the magazines he worked for. Identifying the original designer is not important; it is memory, the almost divine essence released by the garment, that Lucchini aims to preserve forever. These dresses will never go out of fashion, as they are unique, unrepeatable works of art, transformed by the artist into almost mystical visions.

Dress Memory n˚44 and Dress Memory n˚45 were selected for their affinity with Emé’s creative universe. In these works, the garment becomes memory and presence, moving beyond function to transform into a trace of lived history and identity. A body of work that resonates with the brand through its ability to unite aesthetics, emotion, and a contemporary vision.
